Stubborn Dog for Patient New Home

We feel it's best to be upfront: Billie is a very stubborn, distracted dog, and virtually unmanageable by us, her owners. We love our dog very much, but she has become such a burden on us, our happiness is at stake. We have had our dog for over four years now, and frankly we no longer have the strength or patience to keep her in check. In any case, my partner and I are trying to start a family, and she is not good around children. She is well behaved for the most part (which is to say, only indoors and away from the public) but for when it comes to strangers, over which she is very on-alert. She would make a great guard dog, her bark is very loud and she can tend to be very aggressive toward strangers but loyal to her owners; she is very sweet to those she loves. Ideally she would live in the country or serve as a guard dog for, say, a junkyard. We hate that we have to give her up, but she has caused so many issues in our lives, and we lack the proper faculties to give her the training she requires--she is a very special case, a very different dog compared to most. We hope to find a single person or childless couple who has a big heart, a lot of patience, and plenty of experience with dogs. A shelter is absolutely out of the question.
