Handyman / Property Manager – responsible and experienced handyman needed to provide occasional routine and fairly simple maintenance services on two rental units in East Lansing: cleaning gutters, replacing filters, touch-up painting, etc. For more extensive maintenance requiring a contractor, this person must be able to meet the contractor at the house, supervise the work, and verify performance with photographs emailed to the owner. Both units are in excellent repair and need very little maintenance. This person must be willing to accept phone calls for non-emergency issues during normal business hours, and must be willing to accept calls and help coordinate response to any serious emergency, regardless of when it occurs. For property management, no marketing or advertising is required, but this person must feel comfortable and confident about scheduling and meeting with prospective tenants to answer their questions, show the units, and distribute rental applications.
