After our products arrive in containers and trailers, Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) operators put away the inventory into stock and then retrieve it when ready for customer shipments. Operating powered industrial trucks to move our product from location to location is an integral function of the Paper Mart distribution center. This is position consists of, but is not limited to, the listed general warehouse duties. ***New hires are eligible for a $500 SIGN ON BONUS upon completion of training and introductory period *** AVAILABLE SCHEDULE: 2ND SHIFT Mon-Fri: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm DUTIES: 1. Safely operate various powered industrial forklifts. 2. Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, and shelves by hand. 3. Lift heavy objects by hand (up to 50 lbs) to assist in loading or moving material and products. 4. Verify that the quality of the product sent outbound meets company expectations. 5. Adheres to all work instructions and housekeeping procedures. 6. Load and unload trailers. 7. Responsible for the accuracy of all transactions and product scanning. 8. Load finished goods for shipment to customers. 9. Operate within standard operating procedures (SOP's). 10. Responsible to safely operate power equipment (cherry picker, stand-up, and reach machine). 11. Other duties as assigned by management. REQUIREMENTS: 1. 2 yrs minimum Order Picker and Stand-up Forklift Experience 2. Team oriented and Self-motivated 3. Must be able to communicate effectively 4. Must have flexibility of job assignments 5. Familiarity with warehouse environment 6. High School Diploma (some college preferred) 7.
