URGENTLY seeking Crew Leader / Driver for prominent Bamboo Removal + Installation Company. *Part-time and full-time available. We need both full-time, and someone specifically for Saturdays. If you wanted to make some extra money just working Saturdays, OR you are interested in full-time - we want to talk to you, and we are open about scheduling* Seeking a professional, hard-working foreman / crew lead for bamboo landscaping design company, specializing in privacy hedge installations, bamboo removal, and containment. Job Description: - Excellent position for someone who is organized, takes initiative, thrives well without supervision, and is willing to learn - Lead and direct crew on job site. Ability to give clear direction and keep workflow moving to complete the work - Maintain timeframes and designated deadlines for jobs - Self-starter, go-getter, without the need for constant supervision - Ability to act as a liaison between clients and the crew, to explain the job and work clearly - Flexibility - ability to pivot from one task to the next - Clear communication skills - Strength and ability to be physical - Potential for growth to create your own role in the company - An eye for aesthetics and landscape design - ability to view the overall scope of work on an installation or removal - Willingness to learn more about bamboo, landscape design, removing and planting bamboo, growth stimulation techniques, and bamboo maintenance - anything you don't know is fine - we're willing to teach you Requirements: - Clean / Valid Driver’s License (must be insurable) - Ability to speak Spanish (not required, but a plus) - Work outdoors in various weather conditions - Must be able to transport machinery and crew members to various job locations - Must be able to direct / supervise a crew on job sites - Must be capable of driving pick-up trucks with various sized attachable trailers (14’, 18’, 20’ and 24’), as well as tow-behind compressors. - Landscape / Landscape construction experience a plus. Machine experience (small excavators, tractors, etc.) also a plus. - Bilingual preferred. - Must have professional attitude and work ethic and be able to talk with clients about the job We have over 35 years experience working with bamboo.
