We are looking for a laborer who wants to grow into a skilled tradesman to join our team. We are a busy commercial painting/industrial flooring company and are always looking for dedicated laborers who want to learn to join our team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines, load and unload frequently heavy materials, and follow directions from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen. To do well in this role you should be physically fit, reliable, and be a hard worker. Primary Duties Include, but are not limited to: Load and unload trucks and vans Set up and break down mixing areas Measure and mix material properly Accurately complete a material usage report Prepare concrete surfaces with heavy duty equipment such as Blast-Trac, Orbital Grinder and Scarifiers Maintain equipment in clean and working condition Properly clean prepared areas w/brooms and vacuums Cut and fill joints Patch holes and divots Mix epoxy Hand trowel and power trowel Hand grind or edge grind Ability to push and pull a wheel barrow Clean and maintain work area Attention to detail Maintain small equipment Industrial Flooring Requirements: Reliable Transportation and valid drivers license, ability to lift up to 75llbs, ability to push or pull heavy equipment, ability to push and pull pallets of material, professionalism and a positive attitude. Preferred: Experience, but willing to train and OSHA 10
