Purebred puppy and kitten ads on Craigslist are mostly SCAMS. They will request a deposit and you will never hear from them again as they are out of state and your puppy never existed. If the map shows Boston, it is a scam, if it shows Logan Airport, it is a scam. If the ad has a lot of spelling or grammar errors IT IS A SCAM.
Craigslist does not allow selling of animals, rehoming only so the scammers have gotten creative.
