Compensation: UP TO $300 per day - Based on Experience, Skill level and Climbing Equipment Owned HIRING - FULL TIME AND PART TIME OR FREELANCE EXPERIENCED TREE CLIMBERS & BUCKET TRUCK TREE TRIMMERS Kenner, La. tree service company with a great reputation and work environment is now accepting phone interviews and resumes for skilled tree climbers and bucket truck tree trimmers with great work ethics and the desire to work with a small but established tree company. The person that fills this position could move into a Foreman/Operations Management position in the future, if desired. We offer a 5% commission for additional jobs sold to Foreman's in addition to the above daily pay. A successful candidate will be willing to follow company established processes and have the proper skill set for doing daily work quickly and safely in a professional manner. The right candidate will be able to work well with other crew members and will enjoy working outdoors, be dependable, reliable and safety minded. They will be able to present themselves in a professional manner at all times and be willing to follow all company safety requirements. These candidates will be willing to help train the ground crew if needed to accomplish quality work, a safe work environment and fully satisfied customers. All crew members will be willing to follow the company processes that have been proven successful for all daily operations to do work. Job Duties: *The climber and bucket truck operator will be responsible for all aspects related to tree climbing and bucket operations during trimming and removal of trees. *The climber will climb trees proficiently and safely using proper equipment and rigging techniques. *Good communication skills when working with the ground crew. *Willing to help train lessor skilled crew members when needed. *Bucket operator and ground crew will help maintain proper light maintenance on all chain saws and other equipment as needed. *Fallow company processes to properly maintain and safely use all equipment daily. *Bucket operator and ground crew will safely drive bucket truck and tow trailers and equipment to job site and back to company equipment yard in a safe manner. *Do all work to complete the jobs safely in a professional manner. *Protect all company tools and equipment from theft, damages and loss daily. *Take pride in your work and be able to leave job sites completely clean and Lookin' Good ! Qualifications : *Minimum two years of on the job experience with a recognized commercial tree service company or equivalent formal training from a recognized training facility. Example (ISA or TCIA) *Climber must have own gear and be able to climb proficiently without tree spurs when trimming. Spurs allowed for removals. *Must be able to demonstrate safe tree climbing skills, cutting and rigging techniques. *Must have current valid drivers license, a clean driving record. (NO Exceptions) (Chauffeur's license or CDL is a plus ) *Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. (NO Exceptions) *Bucket operator must have experience driving trucks and able to safely tow and backup equipment and trailers. *Must have a permanent home address and own transportation. *Must be able to trim and remove trees safely using a bucket truck or by climbing.
