About the Instructor
Kim was born and raised in The Dalles. Her mom, a prolific knitter and needlepoint artist, taught Kim to never sit without doing some kind of needlework. In college, Kim saw a tiny cross stitch design made with tiny stitches. Since she always loved little things, she vowed to learn how to do that. In the process, Kim learned other forms of counted thread embroidery and eventually picked up decorative stitches on felted wool. Stitching is Kim's passion. She believes that it is important to share the needle arts skills with others.
