A day of fun and culture for the whole family!
It all started in 1985 at the Church of the Redemption in the Island Of Locust Point in South Baltimore. Meki & JoAnn Toalepai and good friend the late Gordon Velasco wanted to create an event that brought the Polynesian community together for a day of sharing food, fun, fellowship and talents.
That remains the goal and purpose of the festival to this day! Although the location has varied and family have come and gone, the annual tradition continues.
The event has expanded to include not just Polynesians but all Pacific Islanders as well as friends from all over. Please share this event with your circles of family and friends.
God Bless and enjoy the festivities!
