Fall High School MTB Program Fall High School MTB ProgramAugust 7 – October 24 The Fall High School MTB Program is for all skill levels of High School (or those entering HS in fall 2021)students designed to develop confidence and ability in bike maintenance, riding and technical handling skills (Bike Kung Fu!).  All practices will be structured by skill set. Riders will practice in groups of similar age and skill level...it doesn't matter if they are racing or not. Each rider will have the opportunity to grow as an athlete and as an individual in a positive atmosphere. Ride leaders will expose riders to the local trails, gravel roads, hard surfaces and even jumps! Practice Schedule: Days and Times TBD *Coaches will communicate logistics with their respective groups/riders via Team App. Goals: ·       Teach skills to enjoy both recreational and competitive mountain biking. ·       Utilize “Double-Goal Coaching” during all practices and races to develop life skills as well as cycling skills. ·       Create an atmosphere where athletes work together as a team for every rider’s success. Cost: Practices Only, No Races = $400 per riderIdeal for riders who want to ride bikes with their peers, but not race in the CO High School Cycling League.Will receive a Send Town Bike Club kit (jersey, shorts & socks)Practices and Races = $600 per riderIdeal for riders who want to race in the CO High School Cycling League.Will receive a Send Town Bike Club kit (jersey, shorts and socks) Support at the CO High School Cycling League races and state championships. Support includes: coaching at races, pre-ride, race mechanic, race day food, full pit (tent, chairs, music & good times).
