Are you planning on taking the NCIDQ exam? ASID New England's offering a weekend prep course that focuses on the practicum part of the exam. Students will learn about the contents of the exam and will have an extensive review of which codes to focus on as well as an understanding of what types of case studies to possibly expect. It is an intensive course that will offer comprehensive coverage of the New Practicum 2.0 (electronic practicum). The facilitator will also be able to address any questions or concerns in regards to the multiple-choice parts of the exam and discuss how to break questions down to focus on what the correct answer should be. That will be about a 2-hour segment on Sunday and the rest of the weekend focuses on the Practicum. Register by August 13, 2021. Moore, FASID, RID, NCIDQ, has been teaching the course throughout the nation for many years and has a wealth of experience with the exam. Phyllis received a BS degree in Interior Design from the University of Alabama and is the owner of Interior Design Source, LLC in Decatur, Alabama since 1976. Ms. Moore, a charter member of the Alabama Interior Design Coalition, served as Secretary, Board President. She co-authored the practice act that passed in the Alabama Legislature in 2001 and has actively promoted interior design legislation for over 17 years. An NCIDQ Certificate since 1983, she is a professional member of ASID. Ms. Moore has served as Board Member, Treasurer, and President of the Alabama Chapter of ASID as well as several state committees. Phyllis has served ASID on the national level as chairman of the ASID Legislative Advisory Council, Chairman of the ASID Student Advisory Council, member of the ASID Referral Service Council, member of the ASID Chapter Support Team, ASID National Nominating Committee, and as a director on the ASID National Board of Directors. Phyllis became an ASID Fellow in 2001 and the recipient of the Jack Davis Outstanding Alumni Award from the University of Alabama College of Human Environmental Sciences. She has received the ASID National Merit Award as well as 3 National Presidential Citations and 2 Outstanding Chapter Member Awards from the Alabama Chapter. She has served on the NCIDQ IDEP committee, served as an ASID STEP Instructor, ASID DSS speaker for Legislative CEU, and currently serves on the NCIDQ Peer Review Committee, Neocon Program Advisory Committee and as a Q Prep instructor.
