Tired: Watching reruns of old 80s/90s sitcoms on late night television. Wired: Watching those same sitcoms in a theater while everyone laughs, drinks and reminisces together! Appointment viewing is BACK, baby! SecretFormula returns with another nostalgic show and this time it’s all about live action sitcoms, teen shows, and more from the 80s & 90s! Just like Spoons Toons, we’ll be screening 4 classic TV episodes, with audience members competing in contests to decide what we watch! Hosted by SecretFormula’s Michael Austin and Nell Casey, 80s & 90s TV Party will put the TGIF back in your Friday night out. A giant menu of sitcoms, teen shows, game shows and sketch comedy shows that aired sometime during the 1980s and 1990s! Think TGIF lineup, SNICK, Must See TV & more! Contests! Compete in 80s/90s TV Trivia, Name That Sitcom Theme Song, and other fun games to determine which shows we watch! Prizes! Win retro TV artifacts and tickets to upcoming ACDH shows! Comedic commentary and more! About SecretFormula: We produce, host and throw parties and events all over, but mainly in Brooklyn. Always fun...funny when possible. From group singing dance parties with your favorite music videos subtitled for the whole crowd to sing along with (Sing-Alongs), to cartoon and cereal brunches featured in Time Magazine (Spoons, Toons & Booze), to themed TV and movie parties and lots more we bring the nerdy and nostalgic together for your enjoyment and to bring like minded people together to share their passions IRL. We've been entertaining NYC and leading the charge on the 90's renaissance since 2009...time to experience the secret for yourself. 21 and Over Venue The Arlington Cinema 'N' Drafthouse is a unique combination of a full restaurant located inside a theater. Customers enjoy a full restaurant/bar menu and table side service while sitting in oversized comfortable chairs. The “Drafthouse” replaced the Arlington Theater or “Old Arlington” as it was affectionately known in 1985. The building itself is over 70 years old. The Theater has had a rich history of entertaining DC Area residents with great movies. If you look back over the last 50+ years and picked your most favorite movies, it is likely they have been featured here. The Theater also has a rich history of live entertainment. In fact, tucked behind the large movie screen is the original theater stage equipped with lighting, storage and a green room. The theater is now currently owned and operated by a local family, looking to continue the historic traditions of “Old Arlington” and the “Drafthouse”. We plan to cultivate and improve the Drafthouse experience. It is also with great excitement that the owners of the Arlington Drafthouse opened up a unique arts theater dedicated to comedy arts in April of 2016 in Washington DC. called "Drafthouse Comedy". We look forward to serving the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia community with an alternative to the standard comedy club.   *We are 21 and over unless with a parent BEFORE 9PM.  After 9PM we are 21 and above only
