Description

This one is for all of the marbles!!! Party with us one more night and help us reach our Kickstarter goal! With your help we have been able to raise 60% of our KickStarter campaign goal! This event is being organized as a way to seal the deal on funding and celebrate with you all. If you have been following along the past few weeks you know we will be having some fun! If you aren't familiar with this film project, this will be the perfect opportunity for you to not only learn more about the goals and aspirations of the film but to get your hands on the best Owens+Crawley art deals ever. The rewards are amazing and you can take them home with you that night. Now, if you still don't know the director and his inspiration for creating this film, award-winning international filmmaker Paul Nethercott ("Grateful: The Jenny Berebitsky Story" and "Jitensha" among others) saw a silver lining in how Indianapolis artists Quincy Owens and Luke Crawley closed out their crazy year with a cheeky and provocative Christmas ornament and decided a documentary about their creative resilience demanded to be made. Some people have completely resonated with the concept of "FUCK 2020." It was a year for the history books. Luke and Quincy lived through it and seeing this film will relate to us all: the grief, anger, anxiety, loss, but ultimately, the hope that we can move through difficulty stronger than ever. Please join Owens + Crawley at their expanded fabrication studio and be prepared to socialize, eat and drink, catch up, and learn more about the movie and our Kickstarter campaign and pop-up store/rewards. We've created an all-star, all-local cast and crew that includes composer and musician Rob Dixon, illustrator Aaron Scamihorn, executuve producer Joyce Licorish, marketing director Amanda Kingsbury, director of photography David Yosha and more. All of the rewards are directly supporting this community and Indy's artists, makers, and creatives: Quincy and Luke, the great work of Dominic Senibaldi and Cathead Press, Brian Presnell of Indy Urban Hardwood, alongside all of the local vendors Quincy and Luke support with their staff of fantastic local artists. Tickets are free, with a suggested donation of $10 at the door. We are putting on a spread so be ready to eat, drink, and be merry as we plan to celebrate meeting our goal with your support! Share this with your friends and let's pack the house! Please follow the checkered flags to the back parking lot and enter through the rear gate. No other entrances to the building will be open.
