TacEvac Course Description:
This 6 hour course, based on the NAEMT's (National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians) TECC (Tactical Emergency Casualty Care) training program, expands upon the knowledge and skills obtained in our Exigent Care course. The training takes a deeper dive into understanding and applying the WARM ZONE / INDIRECT THREAT CARE MARCH algorithm by way of hands-on medical component application labs and role playing scenarios. Participants work through all three phases of tactical care (Direct Threat / Indirect Threat / Evacuation Care) with the items commonly found in an IFAK (individual first aid kit), with emphasis placed on Tactical Evacuation (TacEvac) Care.
