Pershing Field Garden Friends and Flat Rock Brook naturalist bring Birds of Prey up close in Pershing Field Park. There will be two events in Pershing Field Park; June 26th and July 10th, registration is required. The July 10th registration will be posted after the June 26th event. Both programs will run from 11 AM - 12 noon. If you sign up please be sure to attend, there are a limited number of slots and we want to accommodate the most people. Please arrive between 10:30 AM -11 AM to sign in. To allow the most people to attend only one event date sign up will be honored. Enjoy a presentation featuring live birds of prey. Flat Rock Brook naturalists will bring along some of the non-releasable raptors that they house and discuss their adaptations, behaviors, and more. As a community based organization, our goal is to beautify our neighborhood, celebrate diversity, and contribute to the well being of our community through gardening. We acknowledge that the beautification of our parks and public spaces dramatically impacts our quality of life, improves the health if citizens, lowers crime and drug related activity and spawns neighborhood revitalization.
