The day is finally upon us! New El Bethel Baptist Church has returned to in-person worship! After reading all details, click 'Register’. The NEB Re-entry Team has outlined safety measures that must be followed to maintain the safety of all who re-enter the building as best we can. Due to social distancing, we will only be able to seat 108 people in the sanctuary and 20 people in the Fellowship Hall. If you are desiring to attend worship on June 6th, you must RSVP. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE YOU REGISTER. 1. The Sunday in-person worship service will begin promptly at 11 am. Check-in will begin at 10:30 am. 2. The Sunday in-person service will be recorded and broadcast on Sunday morning at 11 am. 3. Our Sunday in-person worship service is for members, non-members and their immediate families living in their households. 4. Childcare, youth and children's services will not be offered. However, your children may attend service with you and will need to be included in your registration. Your children must be seated with you at all times. 5. Once you register, you will receive an email confirmation for you and the members of your household that you registered. Bring the confirmation with you (print or mobile) to gain entry into the church. 6. Your temperature will be checked once you enter the building. 7. To ensure proper social distancing according to CDC guidelines, seats will not be reserved. An usher will guide you and your household members to your seats. Household members are allowed to sit together. We strongly suggest that household members arrive together in order to be seated together in the sanctuary. If you and your household members arrive separately, you will be seated separately. 8. Face masks must be worn at all times for your safety and the safety of others. Face shields will not be allowed unless they are accompanied by a mask. 9. We will not hold the traditional “meet & greet” portion of the service, and we ask that you do not shake hands or hug others. 10. We will take communion during service. You will receive cup upon entering. We will have communion and members will hold cup and place in trash upon exiting. 11. You may continue to pay your tithe and offering at www.NewElBethel.org/Give, via mail, place your offering in one of the designated offering boxes in the Worship Center foyer or Pushpay by texting “NewElBethelTX” to 77977. 12. After the service, we request that all social interaction be moved outside the Worship Center to maintain social distancing. It is harder to spread the COVID-19 virus outdoors with proper social distancing. 13. Please stay at home if you feel sick on the day of the worship service. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS DO I HAVE TO REGISTER TO ATTEND? Yes. For your safety and health, we must follow CDC guidelines for social distancing and limit the number of members who can attend. WILL I BE ABLE TO ATTEND ALL SUNDAY IN-PERSON WORSHIP SERVICES? No. You are welcome to choose which Sunday(s) are available to you with assigned group. WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE AT CHURCH FOR THE IN-PERSON WORSHIP SERVICE? Check-in begins at 10:30 am, and the doors to the sanctuary close promptly at 11:00 am for the recording. If you are running late, please choose another Sunday service to attend. Due to the check-in process and temperature checks, we will need more time to ensure timely and proper seating. DO I HAVE TO REGISTER IF MY SPOUSE REGISTERS? During the registration process, you or your spouse will need to complete individual registration. IS THERE RESERVED SEATING OR CAN I CHOOSE WHERE I WANT TO SIT ONCE I ARRIVE? No. To ensure proper social distancing, seats will not be reserved. WILL THERE BE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE SEATING? Yes. An usher will guide you to the appropriate place in the sanctuary. WILL THERE BE SEPARATE PROGRAMMING FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH? No. Childcare, youth and children’s programs will not be offered during Sunday services. However, your children may attend service with you and will need to be included in your registration. If you don’t think your children can maintain social distancing inside the sanctuary, we suggest that you view the Sunday morning broadcast at home. CAN NON-MEMBERS ATTEND THE SUNDAY IN-PERSON WORSHIP SERVICE? Our Sunday in-person worship service is for members, non-members and their immediate families living in their households. HOW WILL PARKING BE HANDLED OR CAN I PARK ANYWHERE? Parking lot attendants will guide you to designated parking lots. CDC guidelines require that we limit the number of people entering the building at each entrance. Where you are instructed to park will determine the building entrance you use. WILL HANDICAPPED PARKING BE AVAILABLE? Yes. Please follow the instructions of the parking lot attendants. AM I REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK? Yes. Face masks and social distancing give you the best possible chance of not contracting the COVID-19 virus. A face mask must be worn at all times, even if you have taken the COVID-19 vaccine. Face shields are not allowed unless accompanied by a mask. WILL FACE MASKS BE AVAILABLE AT THE CHURCH? No. To limit the frequency of in-person contact, we ask that you provide your own face mask. ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS IN WORSHIP ACTIVITIES—SUCH AS COMMUNION, SINGING, OFFERING, OR GREETING—DURING SERVICE? We will not hold the traditional “meet & greet” portion of the service, and we ask that you do not shake hands or hug others.We will take communion during service. You will receive cup upon entering. But face masks must be worn at all times.You may continue to pay your tithe and offering at www.NewElBethel.org/Give, via mail, place your offering in one of the designated offering boxes in the Worship Center foyer or Pushpay by texting “NewElBethelTX” to 77977.WHAT HAPPENS IF MY TEMPERATURE IS HIGH? You will be directed to a room and ask to sit for five minutes. An NEB representative will retake your temperature. If it is normal, you will be allowed to enter the sanctuary. If your temperature is still high, we must ask that you go home to ensure your safety and others’ safety in the building. WHAT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS DOES NEB HAVE IN PLACE? To maximize your protection and reduce the risk of you contracting the COVID-19 virus, the following safety measures that are in place include, but are not limited to the following: Face masks are required at all times.Social distancing will take place when entering and exiting the building and while seated.Hand sanitizer stations are located in the Worship Center.
