Upcycle while creating a work of art with hubcaps! Join Dallas artist Sharon Zigrossi for an afternoon of creative recycling. Using a found hub cap as your ‘canvas’ you will make an eco-friendly work of art suitable to hang in your home or garden. Sharon will provide an overview and share painting techniques and ideas from her 12 years of creating art from roadside trash! All materials will be provided including a cleaned and prepped hub cap, acrylic paints, brushes and a variety of fun materials to embellish your creation. No artistic ability is needed. The hub cap already has a pattern and all you need to do is start painting a color and let your imagination soar! (Cost of materials included in overall fee) Just come as you are!
