This is a family friendly event and absolutely no drugs or alcohol are permitted.      The Austin Powwow and American Indian Heritage Festival is truly a unique Austin event. See hundreds of Native American artists, dancers, and singers from across the country and experience a fascinating look into this rich culture.  Traditional Powwow - Hundreds of dancers from across the country. Dance competitions. Native Market - Shop our large covered market. Native American arts and crafts. Food Court - Relax and enjoy traditional Native American foods. Texas Parks and Wildlife Interactive Program - Fun for the whole family.
