Greenwood Machine & Fabrication, Inc., is a fast-growing machine and fabrication shop in the Modesto area, currently looking for a Machine Shop Assistant to join our team. We are looking for candidates with the following experience, knowledge, skills and qualifications but are not limited to: Responsibilities: Deburr, polish, grind, sand, and clean parts Perform routine machine maintenance (for example checking coolant and other fluid levels and adding appropriate fluid when necessary Assist in operating various machine shop equipment such as; Forklifts, Band Saws, CNC Machines and Abrasive Waterjet Lathes Weekly/Monthly janitorial cleaning duties and lite maintenance around the shops, perimeter of buildings, break room, bathrooms and front office/lobby area Requirements and Experience: Prior machine shop experience a plus MUST be dependable Valid CA Drivers License *** Advancement opportunities for the right person **** We offer competitive pay and benefits package to our full-time employees.
