Description
Kick off Pride with Grace Cathedral's 5th Annual Pride Mass! Y’all, SF Pride 2021 has us feeling all the feels! 🏳️🌈 And The Vine SF @thevinesf is here for it! Mask-up 😷 and sing out to celebrate our LGBTQ Phoenix moment! 🎉 Like Sister Act Mass of yesteryear, we’ll celebrate together as God’s queerly beloved with pop anthems and sacred song! The incomparable Mickala Cheadle will lead us in tunes like “I’m Coming Out,” & “I Want to Break Free” in honor of this year’s theme: “Come Out, Lazarus!” 🎶 We’re moving from death to life, as we mark the 40th anniversary of the AIDS pandemic and emerge from a new one that’s seen us sheltering in place for too long! Time to COME OUT! Show your True Colors (yep, we’re singing that too) by wearing your fiercest Pride apparel! Bring your full selves into the presence of a God who loves you, truly just as you are - full stop. 🤎🖤❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 Attending in Person: Advance registration is not required to attend in person, but is very welcome as it helps us to plan. We do require your name and email address for contact tracing. Masks must be worn and social distancing protocols will be followed. Doors open for seating at 6:10 p.m. Entrance to the cathedral is at the top of the Great Steps. The accessible entrance is via the breezeway on Sacramento Street between Taylor and Jones Streets or via the glass doors on Taylor Street to the left of the garage entrance. Take the first left and follow the hallway to the elevator. Please arrive by 6:45 p.m. as doors may be closed at that time. Do let us know if you require any assistance or accommodations.
