A continuing education course for rehabilitation nd interventions for patients following a stroke. This program is presented by Lisa Hopkins, ORT/L from Encompass Health. The course will provide attendees with an understanding of deficits faced by individuals following a stroke and their recovery process. Encompass Health will be providing lunch for everyone who attends. This is an in-person event. At the time of this publication WMC continues to follow CDC guidelines for hospitals and requires everyone entering the building to wear face coverings "masks" in all public areas. As CDC guidelines change the hospital policy may be updated. Attendees of the program will be required to follow hospital policy. Please contact us if you have questions. The program is approved for two continuing education hours for social workers by the West Virginia Board of Social Work. The WMC Social Service Dept. is proud to provide CEU training opportunities for social workers in our community.
