Maintenance/Hospital Custodian - Veterinary Clinic

Beacon Veterinary Specialists is looking for an energetic and hard-working custodian to join our team. The successful candidate will be a positive, ambitious and self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work and is able to perform a wide variety of janitorial and maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our clinic in a clean and orderly condition. The training schedule will be Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM for 2 weeks. The regular schedule will be Monday - Friday with the hours to be determined. Responsibilities include: *Daily maintenance/cleaning inside and outside the building. *Handyman work items: minor repairs, simple plumbing, painting *Outdoor concrete/tile scrubbing *Wall cleaning *Monthly air vent cleaning *Notify management of problems or needs for repairs Requirements: *Ability to reach, climb, bend, stoop and kneel as necessary *Lift up to 50 pounds *Follow written and verbal instructions *Work independently with minimal supervision *Follow all health and safety regulations Job Qualifications: Education High School Diploma or GED Experience Minimum 1 year of commercial maintenance, janitorial, or related experience.
