Overview: The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for ensuring inventory is processed, organized, and stored. Other duties may include packaging, scanning and preparing orders for delivery while ensuring all duties are performed with efficiency and excellence. This is a part time position for 3 days per week but could have potential to become full time. Apply at Responsibilities: Move inventory and materials across the facility Process inventory for delivery Inspecting products for defects and damages Examine incoming and outgoing shipment. Organize warehouse space and inside office space. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.· Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location. Package items and label correctly. Scan delivered items and ensure quality. Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisor. Stack and organize large bulk items. Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and delivery to proper location, if needed. Update logs and documentation for inventory processing. Move materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locations Wear safety gear at all times. Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles. Work as an active team member to complete team goals. Prepare documentation and inventory for audits. Promptly report any allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department. Comply with Maxor’s Ethical Business Conduct policy and Maxor’s Compliance Program. Remain free from exclusion under the OIG and SAMS Medicare/Medicaid lists. Complete required training, as assigned, within the established timeframes. Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position. Maintain regular attendance in accordance with established policies. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: 2-3 years of related experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Highly organized and able to store items efficiently Ability to pay attention to detail and monitor the quality of inventory Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with inventory software, and able to upload data into the company system Ability to work independently Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more Ability to operate equipment to move or store inventory; i.e., pallet jacks Microsoft Excel experience Legal Disclaimer: Maxor is an EEO/AA/M/F/Vet
