Industry Leading Wine Warehouse and Logistics company is looking for full time shipping and receiving clerk. Great team work environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Oversee incoming and outgoing materials to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition • Study shipping notices and BOL’s, invoices or other records to identify shipment priorities and daily assignments • Assist in reconciliation of any incomplete or missing shipments or product • Locate and record movement of products to pallets for storage or shipment • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies to appropriate parties • Accurately maintain updated records of inventory • Effectively communicates and coordinates with other departments regarding orders • Wrap pallet loads with stretch wrap as needed • Other tasks as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: • None MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • Winery experience preferred • 1+ years shipping and receiving experience • 1+ years warehouse experience • Experience with operation of warehouse machinery desirable REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: • Basic mathematical skills • OVERVIEW: A Shipping and Receiving Clerk will have proven shipping and receiving experience with high Excellent communication • Ability to handle a fast paced and demanding environment with efficiency • Demonstrated team player • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORKING ENVIRONMENT: • Must have the ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time • Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted frequently • Lift or carry materials of varying size, shape and weight • Repeatedly bend, stretch, twist, stoop, push or pull throughout the day • Ability to walk, stand and maneuver on uneven surfaces • Ability to read, write and comprehend BOL’s, invoices and various documentation in the English language • Work is normally performed in a warehouse environment with varying seasonal temperatures Benefits: Medical Insurance: Multiple plan options available with Kaiser, Sutter, Anthem and more.
