A special advance screening of the documentary "Summer of Soul" produced by Questlove. The examines the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival. Summer Of Soul (...Or, When The Revolution Could Not Be Televised) is a feature documentary about the legendary 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival which celebrated African American music and culture, and promoted Black pride and unity. After the screening, Dr. Tameka Hobbs, director of the FMU Social Justice Institute, will lead a talkback featuring radio personality Jill Tracey and former Florida State Senator Dwight Bullard, political director for Florida Rising.
