Join Mobile Area cub scout families as we enjoy activities and a campout on the grounds near the USS ALABAMA! This is a great event to kickoff the new Scouting/school year! New friends and old friends gather for games, activities with Mrs. Renee, food, and camping at the Battleship. Pitch a tent in the huge field and watch the sunset or sunrise over our Mobile Bay. Overnighter includes patch and continental breakfast for registrants. The Mobile Area Council, Boy Scouts of America provides service to over 3,000 youth in the Baldwin, Clarke, Mobile and Washington Counties of Southwest Alabama. The Council spans from the waters of the Gulf of Mexico to the pine forests of Clarke County. The Council maintains and operates the Maubila Scout Reservation (Camp Maubila) in Clarke County. The Council Service Center is located in Mobile, Alabama with helpful professional and support staff. A National Scout Shop can be found in the Service Center building.
