SERVICE TECHS WANTED - Established and growing Service Department is looking for Service Technicians for immediate hire for the evening/night shift. Our Service Techs respond to service work orders from DB-GC clients including nationally recognized restaurant, grocery stores and retail companies. The Service Technician must be proficient in performing general all-around repair and maintenance of buildings and facilities. They should also be comfortable with technology, such as email, Smart phones, tablets, etc. Wage DOE, paid vacation, sick time, holidays. Employer-sponsored medical insurance and matching 401k. Job Responsibilities • Basic personal hand tools must be available every day. • Basic to intermediate knowledge of rough & finish carpentry, casework, laminate, tile installation, plumbing and electrical. • Safely operate hand tools / power tools associated with the carpentry trade. • Perform preventative maintenance on personal / company owned tools & equipment. • Basic understanding / ability to read and interpret work orders / schedule. • Acquire basic materials to complete repairs. • Send daily project / progress updates by email with photos in required format. • Be proactive in company vehicle maintenance. • Complete work orders that are dispatched to them. • Check company email at the beginning and end of every shift. • Meet SLA requirement of every work order dispatched to them. • Check out company provided tools and return them promptly. • Arrive on time for each shift. Gather necessary paperwork, supplies in a timely manner and begin work. • Work a maximum of 40 hours per week, unless otherwise approved. • Request time off at least one week in advance of an anticipated absence. • Be accountable for the keys that are issued. Paperwork/Reporting • Turn in complete, accurate, legible weekly timecards, receipts, & other reports • Communicate with supervisors daily, including photos/reports of completed work • Obtain client signatures when required by client. Safety Requirements • Complete db Safety orientation. • Proactively promote daily job site safety.
