Two boaters were rescued from the Gunpowder River, the Baltimore County Volunteer Firefighter's Association reported Friday afternoon. A 14-foot boat overturned, officials said before 3:30 p.m. The open water rescue occurred in the Joppa area in Harford County, according to authorities.
