***BREAKING*** JUST IN FOR ALL SEATTLE, SOUTH KING COUNTY, AND PIERCE COUNTY TALENT!!! Are you an aspiring Singer/ Song Writer, Band, Musician, and/ or Entertainer who is ready to show your Talent to your community? WELL LISTEN UP!!! Starting June 5, 2021, the Federal Way Farmers Market will be hosting a Federal Way's Got Talent competition for Singers/ Song Writers, Bands, Musicians, and/ or other Entertainers!!! Bring your Talent and do a six (6) minute (or less) performance! There are only 18 participant spots for the Talent Show and will go the first 18 people who sign up (no exceptions), so hurry to secure your spot in the Talent Show! Let’s take this awesome opportunity to finally get out and reacquaint ourselves with our community! The weather is getting warmer, summer is getting closer, and our businesses and communities are showing signs of successful recovery from the Covid-19 Pandemic. However, we must ALWAYS continue to practice safety guidelines which are: • Wearing a mask • Hand Washing • Safe social/ Person-2-Person engagement • Avoid any contamination of food or items Let’s be safe and have a very enjoyable summer! Details: Dates for Competition: June 5, 2021 (Group 1; six (6) people) July 3, 2021 (Group 2; six (6) people) August 7, 2021 (Group 3; six (6) people) September 4, 2021 (Finalist Group; six (6) people) September 25, 2021 (Taste of Federal Way; Winning three (3) Finalist will perform ) • 18 participant spots for the Talent Show of which will be divided into three groups of six (6) people • Each group will be given an assigned month and day that they'll perform/ compete against the members of their group • Two members of each group will advance forward to the final round on September 4, 2021 • Final round contestants will perform/ compete on September 4, 2021, and three (3) will advance to place in one of three categories: 1st Place, 2nd Place, or 3rd Place • The winning contestants will offer a performance and be recognized at the Taste of Federal on September 25, 2021 • Sign up at the Farmers Market Information Booth (you must come to the Farmers Market to sign up) • All Contestants must be pre-screened in person at the Farmers Market Information Booth • Singers with backing tracks must submit their music in advance • Bands (no larger than 4 to 5 person) must submit a Band layout diagram and mic need • The Farmers Market will provide microphones and sound for your performance • Winner of Finals will be chosen on September 4, 2021 • Winning Contestant will perform at the September 25, 2021 Taste of Federal Way event Winning Prizes: 1st Place Winner: $500 Cash Prize, a BOLT 365 Radio T-shirt, 1st Place Trophy 2nd Place Winner: 2 season passes to a local Theme Park, 2nd Place Trophy 3rd Place Winner: $25.00 Gift Certificate to a local store, 3rd Place Trophy * ALL CONTESTANTS ARE REQUESTED TO BE AVAILABLE FOR A PHOTOSHOOT (Date and time TBD) For more information, please contact: Rose Ehl Federal Way Farmers Market
