Press release from the City of Cedar Falls: June 16, 2021 In observation of the Independence Day holiday, the below City departments will be operating the following hours: City Hall: Closed July 5. Hearst Center for the Arts: Closed July 4 and July 5 (please note, the Hearst is always closed Mondays). Cedar Falls Public Library: Closed July 5. Cedar Falls Community Center: Closed July 5. Cedar Falls Recreation and Fitness Center: Closed July 4. Open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on July 5. The Falls Aquatic Center will be open for normal operating hours (1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday) and services both days.
