Press release from the City of Irving: June 1, 2021 TxDOT will close eastbound main and express lanes of SH 183, from Maryland Drive to Regal Ridge Parkway, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly from Tuesday, June 1 to Friday, June 4, as well as from midnight to 7 a.m., Saturday, June 5, weather permitting. Detours will be in place. Note that these closures are subject to change.  The work is part of the $301 million Irving Interchange project that will reconstruct the interchanges at SH 183, SH 114, Loop 12 and Spur 482. The project is anticipated to be completed in mid-2023.
