YARDLEY, PA — A 22-year-old Philadelphia woman was arrested by Lower Makefield Township Police on Saturday and charged with possession of a stolen firearm. Police stopped the driver around 2:19 p.m. for vehicle violations when they noted two bullet holes on the car's passenger side, as well as a firearm and spent shell casing inside the vehicle, authorities said.
The driver said she had been in the area of a Philadelphia homicide earlier in the week.
A records check revealed that the firearm was reported stolen out of Folcroft in 2018. The driver was taken into custody and charged with receiving stolen property and carrying a firearm without a license, among other related charges.
She was arraigned by Justice Snow and sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of posting 10 percent of $50,000 bail.
