Press release from the City of Missoula:
June 17, 2021
Mayor's Office staff presented highlights from the recent survey to the Missoula City Council on June 16. Mayor John Engen and City staff will use resident opinions to help shape this summer's budget proposals for FY 2022.
Residents listed the most pressing problems facing Missoula as housing (31.6 percent); homelessness and poverty (15.7 percent); and jobs and cost of living as the top three problems. That reflects a change from the 2018 survey, in which residents named housing; taxes and spending; and jobs and cost of living as the top three problems.
