Description
I am looking for a qualified mechanic to work on my 1999 Ford Ranger XLT 3.0 Gas engine Truck.
Symptoms: Lower hose came off on the way home so most likely overheated. Now truck engine shakes real bad, had white smoke coming from exhaust, seen oil in radiator water and suddenly had misfire code. Currently parked.
I am suspecting the heads need checked and new gaskets or block might have cracked though it did not go far after hose came loose.
I need someone more qualified to help properly assess the issue and work with me to get it running properly as well as several other things.
I can afford to pay someone $30 per hour (I suspect 12-15 hours of work). I am looking for someone I can assist with the job and who can teach me some things along the way and is patient.
I do have a good variety of tools and a small OBD2 reader (not very good) but am unclear if I have all the tools necessary until a more thourough evaluation can be done.
If intersted pelase send following:
1. Name Age
2. Mechanical Experience-Trouble shooting etc....
3. If you have any of your own tools or I need to supply them all.
