Our Lady of Guadalupe School, Fremont, is looking for a dynamic middle school math/science teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and experience working with middle school students. Responsibilities include planning and implementing innovative lessons aligned to standards; good communication skills; use of technology to support student learning; differentiated instruction to meet all learners’ needs; positive classroom management. We are looking for someone who can effectively collaborate with colleagues and can integrate curriculum goals with school-wide and diocesan-wide initiatives. The teacher would teach math and science to the 6th, 7th & 8th
graders, and handle 8th grade homeroom business.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree A teaching credential or working towards a teaching credential Clear Health Screening and TB test Pass Criminal Background Check Proficiency in Microsoft Office and use of Google Drive and ClassroomClassroom teaching experience is preferable
