Press release from the City of Dixon: June 17, 2021 PRESS RELEASE   For Immediate Release June 17, 2021   FILING EXTENSION FOR VACANCIES ON CITY COMMISSIONS   The City of Dixon is currently accepting applications for the following vacancies on City Commissions:   Three (3) vacancies on the Transportation Advisory Commission (TAC).  The Transportation Advisory Commission is an advisory body to the City Council on matters pertaining to traffic, transportation, and parking issues.   Commissioners serve four-year terms, with a maximum of two consecutive terms.  All three vacancies are four-year terms expiring on June 30, 2025.  The TAC meets at 7:00 p.m. the third Wednesday of even-numbered months.  City residency is required. A stipend of $75.00 per meeting attended is paid to each Commissioner   Interested Dixon residents may obtain an application at City Hall, 600 East A Street, by calling 678-7000, or by visiting the City's website at www.cityofdixon.us.  The deadline for filing applications is 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 2, 2021.   Contact:  Lupe Ruiz, Administrative City Clerk 707-678-7000 Ext. 1116 This press release was produced by the City of Dixon.
