Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 06/18/2021   On Friday June 18, 2021 at around 1:20am officers responded to the area of I-20 and Joseph E Lowrey Blvd on a report of a person shot. On scene officers found an adult male who advised he had been shot while driving. Preliminary investigation found that he had been at a nightclub called Magic City when a dispute broke out. The victim left the nightclub and was driving on I-20 near H.E. Holmes when his vehicle was struck by gunfire and the victim was wounded. The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition and the investigation is continuing. Please keep in mind that this is preliminary information and may change as new facts are discovered.
