Currently looking to hire a NYS Certified Asbestos Project Monitor - we are willing to Train!! We have numerous projects upcoming and are looking for field personnel as soon as possible. Travel required, a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required. • Performs field activities required by the project- including air monitoring for asbestos • Uses and maintains industrial hygiene monitoring instruments. • Collects samples as required by various regulatory agencies. • Prepares project chain of custody report accurately and in a timely manner. • Performs duties in compliance with policies and procedures put forth by Ambient Environmental. • Maintains licenses required by state regulations. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a part-time / temporary position but could become full-time. Days and hours of work are dependent on client schedules. Evening and weekend work will be required as job duties demand as will travel, you may to need to be out of town for a week at a time. Apply today!
