LABORER ENTRY LEVEL – San Diego Sunshine Communications is a highly respected Subcontractor who provides Cable TV Installation Services to multiple major cable companies in the southern California Market. We have over 20 years of business experience and know what it takes to make our employees both successful and satisfied. Sunshine is currently looking for Experienced and Entry Level Maintenance Department Laborers in the San Diego County area. Experience is a plus but not necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate with the "can do" attitude with no experience. We provide both formal and "on the job "training on a continuous basis to achieve positive results. Listed below is a brief description of the job requirements: • Must pass a drug and extensive background screening • Must have good communication and customer service skills • Be polite and professional • Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds • Good hand-eye coordination • Must be quality conscious and take pride in your work • Must be able to work comfortably indoors and outdoors • Must show commitment to safety rules • Must have familiarity with and ability to utilize various hand tools, power tools and small machinery in a safe manner • Must be willing to work full time • Some overtime, weekend and evening work required • Position includes but is not limited to: o Installing small to large Vaults in the ground o Digging trenches and pot-holes o Pulling large cable and fiber line in conduits o Assisting construction crew on worksites o Following instructions from supervisors to perform tasks o Keeping job site clean and safe o Standing for long periods of time o Climbing ladders o Performing other strenuous manual labor We are looking for motivated and reliable candidates who want be part of the best team in the business.
