Description
I've been looking for a band to join, or at least some people who want to make some music. I am usually available all day every Fri, Sat, and Sun. I think I play these 5 genres the most, but not exclusively: rock/prog/metal/indie/pop I'm not interested in being in a cover band, but I don't mind learning covers. I also write full songs. I can email some of my current songs I've been writing/recording upon request. Whether you're in a band that needs someone, or just one musician that wants to make some music. Here is what I can play (best to worst) and what gear I have: 1. Bass Guitar -Play by ear -Very good intuition -Play with a pick (I don't slap) -Can sing and play 1a.Bass Gear -LTD 4String bass -Fender 100A Rumble Box 2. Vocals -Perfect pitch (if not, it's very close) -Very good at finding harmonies on the fly -Tenor range is my best -Lead singer in a band before -Scream very similarly to Jonathan Davis from Korn when/if needed 2a. Vocal Gear -Shure SM57 -Peavey Mic -DigitechVocalEffectProcessor -SoundTech 4-Channel PA 3. Drums -My favorite(not best, just fav lol) - Innovative beats and fills -Actually play to improve song, not show off -My newest instrument. I still have alot to learn, but I'll let you be the judge of my chops 3a. Drum Kit -Frankenkit mostly assembled from these brands: Gretsch, Pearl, Tama, Zildjian, Sabian, and a PDP double kick -Remo and Evans heads all around - I have a Yamaha keyboard behind my throne so I can use any drums I don't have if needed (xylo etc) 4. Guitar - Actually the first rock/ band instrument I learned -Intermediate player - wouldn't be comfortable as lead guitar in a metal/heavier band (I'm not at the "soloist" lvl) -can sing and play 4a.Guitar Gear -Jackson Dinky 6-String -Ibanez Acoustic 6-String -Line 6 Spider IV 150W Head -Marshall Half Stack -Line 6 Spider I 50W -Looper Pedal -Fab Distortion Pedal 5. Recording I have everything I need to record up to 4 channels, other than that I'm 100% self taught at recording and mixing. So any tips are always appreciated. That pretty much sums it up, so if you're interested shoot me a text or email. I can host at my house in clyde, but don't mind driving to abilene if need be. 325-514-83one4 -Joseph-
