JOB DESCRIPTION: Maintenance Technician The Pinnacle International is a leading real estate firm based in Vancouver, Canada with offices in Toronto, and San Diego. This diverse company is vertically integrated with in-house departments responsible for execution of the company’s activities including property development, construction and property management. We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to be based out of Pinnacle On The Park in San Diego performing routine, preventative maintenance and repair procedures on buildings, mechanical equipment and utility systems. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Perform general repairs, complete service requests and maintain physical upkeep of buildings as assigned. • Plan building maintenance operations: schedule work, key controls, service requests and turnover. • Diagnose and resolve maintenance problems. • Troubleshoot and identify all repairs needed related to maintenance and construction. • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring all tenant requests or complaints are addressed in a timely, efficient and courteous manner. • Ensure all work is completed and provide consistent follow up to Supervisor and tenants. • Ensure compliance with fire and safety measures. • Close out service requests using web based SharePoint system and ensure proper notes are made. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: • 2+ years in maintenance or related industry. • Previous experience in multifamily properties preferred. • Knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC (DDC), Building Access Control (BAC) systems, drywall repairs with textures, and basic construction. • All candidates must have: o Valid CA drivers license o Reliable personal vehicle • Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities. • Capable of working independently without direction. • Customer service oriented with the ability to work with tenants, vendors, management and co-workers. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
