The Position We are looking for someone who is willing to learn from our other experienced mechanics and join our team of excellent employees! It is important to us to take good care of our vehicles and safety is our top priority. We are willing to train the right person. We have a large company and a large amount of trucks - there is no limit to what you can learn to do! The majority of our fleet consists of Peterbilt Trucks. We stay up to date on the newest vehicles in the industry, just this year we added 65 brand new trucks to our fleet. We have a large fleet of Diesel Trucks including: Concrete Mixer Trucks, Transfer Trucks, Powder Train Trucks, Bottom Dump Trucks and Booster Dump Trucks. Requirements Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assist and additional heavy lifting Ability to bend, twist, lift and move quickly Report to work on time for all scheduled shift Work in a fast paced environment Perform repeated and repetitive movement consistent within the tire industry Learn and maintain lifting procedures Learn and maintain all general housekeeping and ensure daily performance Responsibilities Properly secure vehicle to lift to ensure safe operation Dismount and remount tires and wheels securely on vehicle Dismount and remount tires and wheels without damaging critical parts Operate all related equipment and tools as trained Work independently Ensure you provide world class customer service Work safely and report any injury immediately to Management/HR Other duties include handling scrap (or take-off-tires) placing them neatly into the storage area, and many miscellaneous duties that you will be directed to perform The Location Escondido, CA Why should you apply?
