I am an IHHS worker and I am leaving the state. IHHS is In Home Health Services. I have a 60 year old woman with MS that needs about 17 hours a week of help like shopping, laundry, taking her to Dr's appointments and bathing. If you are a healthcare worker or know of anyone who can take over her care, PLEASE text me right away. The county is unable to help me because all of their workers are already booked. The only thing is is that she uses an electric wheelchair that weighs about 50 pounds and her care giver will need a large enough vehicle to transport it. It does fold up. I am 64 and am able to put it in and take it out of the car. 50 pounds is not as bad as it sounds. If you are not signed up with the county, you can get certified easily and they will then pay you to take care of her. Thank you in advance for your help.
