Hi there! Ok, so here’s my plan: I’m setting out to build my van into a livable space. My goal is to use all repurposed/recycled/donated materials. I’m trying to be mindful about waste and unnecessary costs. The less waste I create during this project, the better I will feel. I guess I’ll just try to list what I had in mind to give some ideas of what I’m in search of... I only plan to insulate the floor, and I would prefer to use wool, so if someone has some scrap wool around that they maybe don’t have room for, or maybe you have some spray paint cans that are earthy toned in color that you didn’t use completely that you wouldn’t mind donating (I’ll include a photo of the colors I had in mind)? Also, any scrap wood that you may have extra of that I can make into shelves, cabinets, countertops, and the floor? I already have a bed made, but I do need to shorten it just a tad, which will require a saw. I’m more than ok, and actually kind of prefer, that it all doesn’t really match. It’s ok for it to be mismatched colors and textures 😊 Tools that I could maybe borrow, or exchange you for something that you may need in return (I make medicines from plants, just FYI. I have an herbal infuser, so if you’re in need of some plant medicines, or oils, I can exchange you for your help. And whatever medicines I have made already you are welcome to have some, as well)? Because I will have no need for most afterward that will be used.
