We are looking for an individual who can help maintain a large, family-owned property waterfront estate in Wilmington, North Carolina. This job is a rare opportunity to work in a beautiful setting caring for one of Cape Fear's premier properties. The property boasts a large variety of ornamental plants, 8 acres of lawn, and many historic live oaks. That, along with multiple docks, boats, pools, cars, chickens, and more, ensures it is rarely the same job two days in a row. Responsibilities: -Repair major and minor issues with equipment (weed eaters, mowers, etc.) and buildings -Complete maintenance and repair work orders, in a timely fashion -Order and replace broken parts or equipment -Maintain a clean and a safe workspace -Perform other duties, as assigned Qualifications: -Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields -Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment -Deadline and detail-oriented -Ability to handle physical workload Requirements: -Previous experience in landscaping -Working knowledge of plants native to the area -Excellent communicative skills -Works well with others as well as self-motivated to work efficiently when working alone -Comfortable with running equipment such as weed eaters, mowers, etc.
