Description
I need to have these aquariums out of my old apartment by this weekend. They are free to anyone who can take them. The 40 gallon has a basic metal stand that can easily be broken down for easy transport. The 10 gallon has a wood (probably cheap particle board) stand that has some cosmetic blemishes from where water had spilled on it and caused the wood to warp a bit but structurally it's fine. Both have a nice glass lid and lights I upgraded them from the cheap plastic fluorescent light/lids they came with.
Both tanks have some nice wood decor I picked up and boiled for a few weekends to rid them of a lot of the tannins. One of them has some java fern planted on it and a little bit of that java fern broke off and started to grow on another piece of wood, it's still a baby so barely visible but in about a year it'll probably look interesting.
Currently the 40 gallon has a breeding pair of Port Acara and a Pleco while the 10 gallon has some of their offspring (they are outgrowing the 10 gal and will need to be moved). I plan on re-homing these separately from the tanks but if you happen to want both the fish and the tanks then I can probably arrange that just let me know.
You will likely need two able bodies to move this as I'm on the 4th floor and there's no elevators in this building.
CL insists on rotating the pictures for some reason... You can probably right-click & save-as to see them in the correct orientation sorry about that
