General Description: Fire extinguisher service technician. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, timely, and work well with deadlines. You will be trained on specialized equipment to service fire extinguishers and fire protection equipment. This is an entry-level, full-time position. Fire Extinguisher/Service Apprentice Responsibilities and Duties: - Perform required service on handheld portable extinguishers -Clean and organize the extinguisher area -Assist field service techs with inspection, testing, and installation work. Fire Extinguisher/Service Apprentice Qualifications: -Reliable transportation. -Willing to lift at least 75 pounds and work on a ladder. -Basic communication skills. -Must be mechanically inclined and able to work with basic hand tools -Must be able to stand for long periods of time Benefits: -Paid Holidays -401K -Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance. -$150 clothing allowance and paid vacation after one year at the company.
