Alliance Commercial Maintenance Services in Denver has an immediate opening for an Irrigation Technician. This position is responsible for installation, repair and maintenance of irrigation systems - commercial and residential. This is a full-time position including wintertime hours.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Work independently and with Field Superintendent in diagnosing and troubleshooting irrigation related problems.
• General knowledge of various control valves including maintenance and repair.
• Install and diagnose different irrigation systems controllers, including electrical troubleshooting, rain sensor setup and operation of all the system components.
• Conducting and recording detailed inspections of existing irrigation systems
Skills / Experience:
• Basic commercial and residential irrigation head repairs and replacing
• Irrigation blowouts
• Basic controller programming
• Repair irrigation mainlines, backflow repair including soldering.
• General poly & PVC repairs
• 2-3 years of irrigation installation and/or irrigation maintenance
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of on-the-job experience in the line of work.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License
• Dependable and strong work ethic
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking) helpful
• Ability to work additional hours as necessary to maintain project schedules.
• 24/7 availability during snow season.
