Hi we have three quails that no longer need a heat lamp they were the misfits of the hatchlings and we didn't know if they'd make it so we kept them longer to make sure. One was born with a crooked neck, One was very small even for a runt and the other had a strange wing, but they are now all happy and healthy and ready for a home. The one with the cooked neck still looks funny and a bit strange, but the other two look perfect you can't even tell that one was born small or that one's wing looked different. They are all sweet and have been picked up daily and are now about a month old. We can Provide some starting food with the quails and just hope to get these birds caring and loving home.
