If you are new to construction this is the place to start. You do not need a construction background to be right for the job, just a positive attitude! As an Assistant Carpenter your main job responsibility is to drive the dump truck and keep jobsite clean and safe. You will be procuring materials and sorting them on the jobsites. You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining shared company equipment. You will help on multiple jobs at a time and will take direct from the MDBI team member you are working with. Our ultimate goal is to help you develop your skills in carpentry, demo, trim work, cabinet installation, drywall, painting and customer service. We are developing an apprenticeship program with MD labor and Montgomery College and would be excited to include you in that once it is up and running.
